VIDEO: The Constitution is bigger than Otumfuor – Maurice Ampaw declines Manhyia invite

Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has once again made his stands clear after receiving backlash on social media for allegedly speaking against the Manhyia Palace.
Speaking on Kasapa FM, he made it clear that he is going to Manhyia Palace on Monday because he feels the Chiefs have already judged him. According to Maurice Ampaw, if a child does something and you want to punish him, you listen to his side of the story before pronouncing judgment but the chiefs didn’t do that.
“Two people have committed a crime, instead of you to listen to their side of the story before concluding, you didn’t do that, but they have rather insulted him and handed over him to his enemies who were happily trolling him”, he said on Kasapa FM.
He further stated that he would not show up on Monday as the stipulated deadline given to them by the Manhyia Palace.
Chairman Wontumi and Lawyer Maurice Ampaw have been the talk of the week since a video of both appeared on social media speaking against the Manhyia Palace. The NPP General Secretary Mr. Justine Koduah was present at the palace to pleading behalf of the Ashanti Regional Chairman but stated that the disassociates itself from the comments made by Lawyer Maurice Ampaw.
