Full list of 2024 AFCON fixtures, time and dates of every match

CAF has released the official match schedule for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Cote d’Ivoire 2023 following the successful draw held in Abidjan last week.

The 34th edition of the biggest sports event on African soil will take place from 13 January to 11 February 2024 in Abidjan, Yamoussoukro, Bouake, San Pedro, and Korhogo.

The opening game will feature hosts Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea-Bissau on Saturday 13 January 2024 at Alassane Ouattara Olympic Stadium of Ebimpe, in Abidjan.


Ivory Coast will play Nigeria on January 13th, Equatorial Guinea on January 18th, and Guinea-Bissau, on 22nd January 2024. The other AFCON fixtures in this group will see Nigeria vs Equatorial Guinea on January 14th, Equatorial Guinea vs Guinea Bissau on January 18th, and Guinea-Bissau vs Nigeria on 22nd January, 2024.


Group B, like other groups, will have 6 different AFCON fixtures. Egypt vs Mozambique and Ghana vs Cape Verde will happen on 14th January but at different times.

The second group game, Egypt vs Ghana and Cape Verde vs Morocco will happen on the 18th and 19th. The final group game will be held on the 22ndwith Mozambique vs Ghana and Cape Verde vs Egypt playing simultaneously in different stadiums.


In Group C, Senegal will battle Gambia on January 15th, Cameroon on January 19th and Guinea on 23rd January 2024. The other three group games will see Cameroon vs Guinea on January 15th, Guinea vs Gambia on January 19th, and Gambia vs Cameroon lock horns on January 23rd.


In Group D, Algeria will battle Angola on 15 January 2024, while Burkina Faso will play Mauritania the following day. The second group game for each team will be held on 20th January, with Algeria playing Burkina Faso and Mauritania playing Angola.

In the final group game, Angola vs Burkina Faso and Mauritania vs Algeria will happen on the same day and time 23rd January 2024, but at different venues.


Group E comprises Tunisia, Namibia, Mali and South Africa. Tunisia will battle Namibia on January 16th in their first game, Mali in their second on January 20th, and South Africa in their final group game on 24th January 2024.

On the other hand, Mali will play their first game against South Africa on January 16th; South Africa will play Namibia on the 21st of January, while Namibia will play Mali on the 24th.


Morocco, Tanzania, DR Congo and Zambia make up Group F. The first matches in this group will occur on the 17th.

The second group game will happen on the 21st, and the final group game will be held on the 24th of January 2024. For now, the odds favour Morocco to be the winner within this group.
