A Yaba Magistrate’s Court in Lagos State has granted music star, Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, and Balogun Eletu, popularly known as Sam Larry, bail in the sum of N20 million with three responsible sureties.

The Magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, ordered the duo to submit their international passports as part of their bail conditions.

The magistrate also ordered them to make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

She cautioned that any attempts to contact her would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings.

Olatunbosun said: “As part of the bail conditions, the defendants are to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department.

“Any attempts to contact me directly would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings.”

After singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad died on September 12 and was buried the next day, Naira Marley and some others, including Sam Larry, were called out for allegedly frustrating him.

But the Marlian Records boss absolved himself of any wrongdoing.

However, Naria Marley and Sam Larry were arrested on their return to Nigeria.
