2 min read

Former President John Dramani Mahama shared his concerns about the difficult times many Ghanaians are facing under the leadership of Akufo-Addo during an address at a church in Techiman, Bono East Region, on November 19, 2023.

Mahama, the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is currently on a “Building Ghana Tour” to connect with people, understand their concerns, and revitalize the NDC in preparation for the 2024 presidential campaign.

In his speech at the church, Mahama emphasized the challenges experienced by the youth across the country, noting that many have lost hope in Ghana. The “Building Ghana Tour” involves stops in various places to engage with people from different walks of life.

Mahama encouraged Ghanaians to maintain a sense of gratitude towards God despite facing challenges. He also cautioned voters to be cautious of politicians who make appealing promises but fail to fulfill them, urging citizens to vote against such individuals.

The “Building Ghana Tour” by the NDC provides Mahama with a platform to connect with communities, listen to people’s insights, and understand their aspirations for a prosperous Ghana. It reflects his commitment to engaging with the public as part of the preparations for the upcoming presidential campaign in 2024.
